After creating Free Comedy, Thank God It's Funny, Top Comedy, and Jokes & Beers, I felt that we were clearly not having enough English Comedy in the city. Especially in the weekends. That's why I'm starting a new weekend show in the beautiful village of Poblenou. This comedy is an open mic, where people can try out jokes that might never be shown at the big clubs. It will take at a Belgian bar, that serves Belgian beers, as well as fries and snacks. The show is completely free to attend, although tipping is always appreciated for keeping the lights on. ⏰ Be on time: Arrive before the show starts, check in with the host, and be ready to go when your name is called. ⏱️ Respect your time: Watch the light and strictly step off stage when your time is up. Overrunning ruins the flow for everyone else. 📱 Manage cancellations via Performer.app: If you can't make it, cancel through the app as early as possible so another comic can take your spot. No-shows hurt the show. 🤝 Be respectful: Treat the host, venue staff, and your fellow comics with kindness and professionalism both on and off stage. 😂 Aim to be funny: The main goal is to entertain and make people laugh, not just to vent, lecture, or unnecessarily upset the room. 🚪 Open door policy: Anyone is welcome to perform, but regardless of experience level, the primary job is still to deliver comedy. 🛑 No hate speech or punching down: Keep the room a fun, safe space by avoiding cheap targets and offensive material. 🍻 Support the venue: Have a drink, and stick around to support the other comics on the lineup.
